A. M. SHIPMAN, 80, SUCCUMBS SUNDAY -- After a lingering illness of more than a year, A. M. Shipman, 80, died Sunday morning at the Medical Lake hospital, it was learned here today.
Born in Wisconsin, May 28, 1855, Mr. Shipman came to Ellensburg where he resided until a year ago, in 1912.
Suriving are his widow, Sarah; four sisters, and one brother, Mrs. Nina Harp and M. S. Shipman of Chippawa Falls, Wis.; Mrs. Etta McLaughlin, Kamiah, Idaho, and Mrs. Fannie Sutton, San Diego, Cal.
Burial will be at Medical Lake.

Mr. Shipman's death record at the Washington State Archives notes that he was the son of Ezra and Sarah (Henry) Shipman.
