Amelia Josephine "Millie" Ottley, 90, Oakley, died on Thursday, May 6, 2004 at the Logan County Manor, Oakley.

Millie was born on Nov. 3, 1913 in Scotland, TX to Joseph and Mary Roeder Maimer. She lived in rural Sheridan and Thomas Counties before moving to Oakley in 1982 and was a homemaker.

Millie was a member of St. Joseph's Church, St. Joseph's Altar Society, both of Oakley; and a past member of St. Paul's Church, Angelus.

She married Leo John Ottley on Sept. 3, 1940 at Sequin.

Survivors include her sons, Bernard, William, and Robert Ottley; son-in-law Gordon Shadle; brothers, Vincent, Florentine, and Leo Maimer; 12 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband Leo J. (4/19/1992); daughter, Mary Ann Shadle (2002); grandson, Mitchell Ottley (2001); brothers, Pat, Joseph, and Ben Maimer; and two sisters Emma Holdforth and Matilda Rietcheck.

Funeral service was held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 11 at St. Joseph's Church, with Fr. Roger Meitl and Fr. James Grennan officiating. Burial was in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Oakley.
