MRS. LONG BURIED HERE YESTERDAY.

The body of Mrs. Margaret Jane Long, 80 years of age, was brought to Neodesha yesterday afternoon and was buried beside the grave of Wm.
Long in the city cemetery. A grave service was conducted at 2 o'clock
by Rev. J.C. Lawder of the Christian church. Mrs. Long died at Joplin
last Saturday. Funeral services were held at Joplin yesterday morning at
10 o'clock. We have tried to get some particulars about the death of Mrs
Long and who she was, but to no avail. The funeral party, consisting
of four carloads, drove over Joplin and we understand three of
Mrs. Long's sons were in the party. We understand that Mrs. Long was
the mother of eight sons and that some of them were born in Neodesha.
All are dead except the three sons who accompanied the body of their mother here yesterday.
