Uncle Walter was an incurable fox hunter. No choir made more beautiful music than his hounds, and no prescription from a doctor was better therapy than a night's acton with them. Aunt Lue was never idle. She quilted, made rugs, looked after neighbors, etc. She canned everthing within reach on the theory that "If we can't use it, someone else can." And someone else always did. After church on Sunday, the week ends, holidays, vacations,anniversaries or for no reason at all. Her family tells of a lesser known talent. One day the men of the neighborhood went hunting for a troublesome deer. While they were away, Aunt Lue spotted the culprit in their yard, grabbed a gun and bagged it. Walter and Lue Belonged to the Church of Christ.
