Mary Josephine (Brady) Kramer was born on January 19, 1881 to Francis (Frank) and Anna (Adamek/Adamae) Brady on a farm about one half mile south of Eastman, WI. She passed away on May 1, 1969 at the General Hospital in Pdc, WI, after a short illness.
Mary was united in marriage to Hubert Daniel Kramer, son of Paul and Sophia (Belrichard) Kramer on October 31, 1903. Their married life was spent on a farm on Shanghai Ridge, not far from where Mary is buried. Hubert and Mary moved to a home across the street from the Salem United Methodist Church in Eastman in 1946. Hubert passed away on Dec. 18, 1952.
Up until one week before her death, Mrs. Kramer was actively caring for her flowers and doing her own housework.
Mary and Hubert raised 11 children to adulthood; (Charles, Floy, Roy, Howard, Nona, Grace, Richard, Chester, Lavern, Rilla and Willard).
In 1969, Mary was survived by 8 of her children, 30 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. Her husband, Hubert, and 3 of her children (Charles, Roy and Nona) preceded her in death.
