Pauline Hamilton, age 86, passed away Thursday, December 29, 2011, at Cedar Hills Geriatric Center in Camp Wood, Texas.
She was born January 17, 1925, in Tom Green County to Paul and Della (Blakeney) Whipkey.
Pauline is survived by her sons, Hal Hamilton and wife Kathy of Whitney, Texas, Cecil Hamilton and wife Cindy of Camp Wood, Texas, Van Hamilton and wife Mary of Whitney, Texas, Simon Hamilton of Camp Wood, Texas; daughters, Reba Hurt and husband Arthur of Blum, Texas, Leona Hurt and husband James of Whitney, Texas, Marie Hurt and husband Lawrence of Whitney, Texas; sisters, Reba Brown of San Antonio, Texas and Claudette Whipff of Sonora, Texas. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Tina, Tara, Chad, Jon, Joan, Sheri, Tyler, Cathy, Karen, Melissa, John, James, Reba, Jason, Amber, Bradley, Michael, James, Patricia, Frances, Anthony, Shane, Joseph, Jennie, Clorisa, Fleasha, Cecil; 56 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews; great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Della Whipkey; husband, Franklin Chadwick (Red)Hamilton; children, Hazel Hamilton, Howard Hamilton, August Hamilton, Grace Hamilton, Wyhoma Hamilton; grandson, Arthur, Jr.; brothers, Jesse (Jake) Whipkey, Robert (Bob) Whipkey, William (Bill) Whipkey; sisters, Angie Weaver, Barbara Williams and Bessie (Dutch) Rogers.
A Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 30, 2011, at the Barksdale Cemetery.
