Funeral services for Dennis Carlson, 19 year old soldier killed in action in Vietnam on October 14th, will be 2:30 pm at Decorah Lutheran Church. Burial will be in Lutheran Cemetery.
Pvc. Carlson died of gunshot wounds at Quan Tri on October 14. The family had lived in Charles City for 18 years, then Decorah and in Monticello since last June.
Surviving are his mother, Mrs. Georgina Carlson, Monticello, sister Mrs. Walter Sunday also of Monticello and grandmother Mrs. Sena Carlson of Decorah.
Steine Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
