Alexander S. McIntosh, 16,of Ridgeview Lane, after acourageous battle with cancerthat earned him the name of
Lion Heart from the nurses,quietly transitioned into eternal life on Wednesday,August 26, 2009 at M. S.
Hershey Medical Center with his beloved mother at
his bedside in prayer.
He was born in Harrisburg,the son of Deborah McIntosh
and Dennis T. Wilson, a student
at Susquehanna Township HighSchool, a member of The Greater
Zion Missionary Baptist Church,where he participated in the
AWANA Program, the MediaMinistry, the New Member's
Classes for the Youth, YouthBible Study and Usher in the
Youth Ministry.
In his leisure, Alex enjoyed playing football and basketball.
He had an incentive to do anddoing neighborhood chores,
like mowing lawns.
He leaves to celebrate his life,his parents, Deborah McIntosh and Dennis T. Wilson; his brother,Dennis T. Wilson, Jr.; his maternal grandparents, Shumpert and Annie
Ruth McIntosh of Erie; his paternal grandparents, Lyttington Dennis and Beulah Wilson of Philadelphia
and a host of other relatives and friends.
Alex's life will be celebrated Wednesday, September 2nd at
11 a.m. in the Sanctuary of his
church, 212 N. Progress Ave., with viewing 9 until 11 a.m..
Further services will be held in Erie, PA at Brugger Funeral
Homes, LLP and burial in Lakeside Cemetery.
