Christine (Adell) Stevens, 89, died Sunday, April 3, 2011 at Marlborough Hills HealthCare Center, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Augusta, Maine, she was the daughter of the late John and Isabel (Davis) Adell, and spent most of her formative years in Maine.

She was the wife, for 43 years,to the late Clifton Stevens, who died in 1987.

She had been employed by Deitrick Optics of Hudson, until her retirement in 1984.

She is survived by her children, Clifton Stevens and his fiance Judy St. Denis of Littleton, Amanda Chesna and her husband James of Bolton, Lillian Roberts and her husband David of Hernando, FL, and Daniel Stevens and his wife Roseanna of Hudson, her brother Thomas Adell of Augusta, ME, 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by 3 sisters and 4 brothers.

Funeral services will be held on Wed., April 6, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the Slattery Funeral Home, Inc., 40 Pleasant St., Marlborough. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Wilson St., Marlborough.
