Ora Hester Younkin, 80, of 196 Miller Street, Grantsville, Maryland, died Thursday, January 23, 2003, at Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland. Born September 25, 1922, in Accident, she was a daughter of the late Henry & Effie (Georg) Bach. She was preceded in death by one grandson, Christopher Younkin.

Mrs. Younkin was a retired employee of Penn Alps Restaurant and Hill Top Restaurant, Grantsville. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church and former member of the Christ Church Women. Surviving are one daughter, Kathleen Margroff, Accident; Carl Younkin, Baltimore; Richard Younkin, Accident. Mrs. Younkin was one of a set of triplets and is survived by her brother, Owen Bach and sister, Orpha Miller as well as an older sister, Florence Deniker, all of Accident. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, Kevin, Steven, and Troy Margroff, Jill Evans, Mark Younkin, Greta Taylor, Tammy Seidlecki, Dean Younkin, Sara Wilhelm and Matthew Younkin & 16 great-grandchildren.
