Also called Nanners by friends. Here is the poem that was written and read for him at his funeral by Michelle (granddaughter) Not a Whisper, Nor a shout
But a loving voice , soft lap , strong arms held out .
He took pride in all of us , and so hard he faught ,
But I know we filled his head with every passing thought .
He taught us about life and about love ,
And I feel him now watching us from above .
As childern he played with our minds ,
And as adults we knew he was just " that kind" .
You could always count on him ,
When you were down he'd make you grin .
He always had time to tell you a story ,
And on his face no sign of worry .
He was one of a kind style and technique ,
But then again thats what made him SO very unique .
Your struggls is over , you can finally sleep ,
But we must stay behind here , behind to weep .
All of our love goes with you ,
As you dance the skies of blue.
For god has called you home ,
And with him in peace may you always roam .
