Robert McCain Baum, 56, of N. High Street, a carpenter, died at 6:46 a.m. Tuesday, at his residence following an illness of three months. Born in Delphi on July 15, 1900, he was the son of Edwin and Minnie (McCain) Baum. He married Margaret Eikenberry Rariden on August 16, 1922.
A lifelong resident of the community, he was a member of the Presbyterian church.
Survivors include his wife, a son, Robert E., Tempe, Arizona; a step-daughter, Mrs. Robert Sanderson, Camden; and four grandchildren.
Final rites will be conducted at the Eikenberry Funeral Home, at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, with the Rev. James Rankin officiating. Burial will be made in the Masonic cemetery.
