Mrs. Adda May McCauley Lenox, 97, of Falmouth, KY, passed away Thursday, May 13, 1980, at Edgemont Manor Nursing Home in Cynthiana, KY. She was born in Harrison County, KY, on November 26, 1882, the daughter of Thomas Walter and Sarah Elizabeth Smith McCauley. She married Rev. William McGarvey Lenox on June 16, 1909. He was a well-known Christian minister in Pendleton County for 63 years and preceded her in death on March 14, 1969.
Funeral services for Mrs. Lenox were held Thursday, May 15, 1980, at 2:00 p.m. at Peoples Funeral Home, Falmouth, conducted by Dr. Larry Bishop, of the Cynthiana Christian Church. Mrs. Warren Shonert played beautiful selections on the organ. Pallbearers were Rich Teegarden, William R. Toadvine and Jackson McCauley. Burial took place in Riverside Cemetery, Falmouth, under the direction of Peoples Funeral Home.
