Dick worked for the city of Galesburg in the Street, Park and Water departments. He also worked for the Galva Foundry and Abingdon Pottery. He graduated from Galesburg High School in 1977.
He enjoyed softball. He played first base on several leagues through the years. He was our "Babe Ruth". He was a true fisherman at heart and also enjoyed mushrooming. He would do anything for anyone, he had a heart of gold and only saw the good in people. He was a "unique individual". He did it his way!
