SUSIE B. QUINTANA

Age 91, a lifelong resident of Sombrillo passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, January 16, 2004.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Quintana; her parents, Ramon and Feliz Bustos; brothers: Marcelino, Frank and Gus Bustos; sisters: Adelia Alarid and Porfiria Bustos Hurtado.

She is survived by one son, Ross Quintana of Sombrillo; two daughters: Lillian Martinez of Albuquerque and Lucille Martinez and husband Gilbert of Truchas; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; three step great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by sisters-in-law: Sophie Garcia of Rio Rancho, Zulema and husband Biterbo Quintana of Cuarteles, Corinne and husband Ernest Garcia of San Pedro, and Olivama Mares of Santa Fe; many nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends.

On Saturday, January 17, 2004, visitation will begin at 6 p.m and a rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. at Block-Salazar Mortuary. On Sunday, January 18, 2004, a rosary will be recited at 3 p.m. at La Iglesia de Santa Cruz de la Canada. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, January 19, 2004, at 11 a.m. also at La Iglesia de Santa Cruz de la Canada. Interment will follow at the Holy Cross Cemetery in Santa Cruz.
