Michael J. Hogan, formerly of Lewiston, NY, passed away on Sunday, November 22, 2009, in Mt. St. Mary's Hospital, Lewiston, NY.

He was born in Niagara Falls, NY, on May 16, 1925, the son of John J. and Helen [O'Laughlin] Hogan. Mr. Hogan was a Seabee with the US Navy, during World War II in the Pacific Theater. After returning from the war he graduated from Niagara University in 1954 with a bachelors degree in Business Administration. He was employed with Conrail as a Chief Clerk, for over 41 years, before retiring in 1982. Mr. Hogan moved to St. Catharines, Ontario in March of 1983 and then moved back to Lewiston in 2000. He was a former member of Sacred Heart Church and enjoyed the theater, music and traveling throughout the world.

Mr. Hogan was the brother in law of Mary Agnes Hogan, the uncle of Patrick W. (Barbara) Hogan, John (Virginia) Hogan, Sheila (Richard) Hogan-Bunnell, Mary (Michael) Bunting, Kathleen (Tim) Taylor, Margaret (William) Roy, Cathy Hogan, Teresa (Tom) Tagliarini and Anna (David) Carstensen, he is also survived by many grand nieces and nephews.He was the brother of the late John E., Paul A. (Mary Lou) and Virginia Hogan and uncle of the late Paul Hogan.
