Second of the two children of Edward Salisbury McEntee and Jane "Jennie" Donaldson. Following their deaths, was reared by paternal aunt, Gertrude Augusta McEntee and her husband, Lewis Delono Perrin (see memorials #28104011 & 28103813), taking their surname. Resided in western New York for several years, locating to Butler, PA by 1894. Married Clara Leibold in Butler on 6 April 1897. Lived many years at 748 Center Avenue, with his primary occupation as rural mail carrier from at least 1910 until his death. Ned has been said to have been the first person to use a motorized vehicle to deliver mail in Butler County.
