Services for Warren Neuburn Allen 47, 807 Alamosa St., are scheduled to be held at the First Christian Church on Tuesday at 10 a.m. The Rev. Brenton Haworth, First Christian Church, will officiate. Burial will follow in Sunset Gardens Memorial Park. A graveside service is to be conducted by Elks Lodge #1558.
Pallbearers include: Jack Blanchard, Doyle Boatwright, Bill Beeman, Wayne Kelly, David Peterson and Larry Richardson.
He was born Feb. 27, 1940, in Carlsbad and graduated from Carlsbad High School in 1960. He had been employed by Potash Co. of America, B.J. Hughes Co., and most recently, he was a salesman for Rowland Trucking Co. He was a member of the First Christian Church, Elks Lodge #1558, and the American Riflemans Association.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Allen, Carlsbad; one son, Bobby Allen, Carlsbad; two daughters, Lori Allen, Las Cruces, and Terri Allen, Carlsbad; his parents, Oscar and Margaret Allen, Loving; one brother, Norman Allen, Carlsbad; two sisters, Deanna Weston, Coos Bay, Ore., and JoAnn DiCamillo, Kirkland, Ariz.
Memorial contrubutions may be made to the Hospice Association, in care of the Carlsbad Foundation. West Funeral Home is in charge of arrangement.
