Mr. Billy K. Tapley, 82, went to be with his Lord on Sunday, December 18, 2011. He left behind many fond memories of his sterling character. He was unquestionably true to his Lord and his church. He loved his Sunday School Class, singing in his beloved Silvertones Choir and participating in the Men's Prayer Group which he attended faithfully until his health failed. Billy was a model of human faithfulness in everything he endeavored to do. He was greatly loved and will be greatly missed. He is preceded in death by his parents, Clint and Bea Tapley; wife, Betty Owings Tapley; brothers, Willard Tapley and Raymond Tapley; and sisters, Mavis Atchley, Catherine Craddock and Juanita Couch.
