Rosamond Reeves was called to Glory on 4-14 after a short illness. Born October 25, 1919 in Lindsey, OK to Elmer and Minnie Powell. She grew up in Gotebo. Rosie was an active member of Valley View Baptist Church where she served for many years in the nursery. As her children grew, she was active in PTA, Brownie and Girl Scouts. She was instrumental in developing the Western Heights School District. She was known as Granny to her great-grandsons baseball teams. Her family was her pride. Fishing and rock collecting were her favorite pastimes. God must have needed another angel and our lives are richer for having known her. Rosie left this life to join her husband of 48 1/2 years, Glen, her parents and her brother, Tybo Powell. Those left with precious memories and to celebrate her life include her son Glen Milton and Joann of Oklahoma City, her son Ralph and Barbara Warr Acres, her son Joe and Nancy of Mustang and her daughter Anita and John Pavlovic of Mustang, 14 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Services will be Wednesday at 10:00 am at Valley View Baptist Church, 4300 SW 29, Okla. City, OK, with interment following at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Okla. City, OK.
