AIKEN — Funeral services for Mrs. Claude R. Johnson were held today.
Mrs. Johnson, the former Esther Givens, 80, died Sunday in a Jacksonville, Fla. nursing home.
Born in Barnwell County, she was a daughter of the late A. Preston and Mary Aull Givens.
Surviving are two sons, Frank C. Johnson of Jacksonville and C. R. Johnson Jr. of Aiken; a sister, Mrs. Madell Boyd of Augusta, Ga.; a brother, Otis Givens of Williston; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
