Eleanor was the wife of Daniel Housley and they had Samuel, Rebecca (Dienst), George, Catherine, Henry, Mary, George, Richard Andrew, Prestly who moved to Kansas, and Sophia(Thompson). Daniel was born in 1804 in Maryland and died in Portage Township in 1876.

Eleanor was married first to Henry Frank 1 June 1824, and after his death she married Daniel Housley 14 Oct 1841 in Stark County Ohio. The Thompson family settled near Hartville, Stark County Ohio around 1820 or so. Eleanor was the oldest sibling of several sisters and one brother. Her father, John, is buried just a couple of graves away from Eleanor's sister Nancy who married Leidigh Housley. This information contributed by George Miller.
