5 Feb 1943 - Last rites for George W. Fletcher, age 51, were held Tuesday evening at Fort Jesup, interment in Fort Jesup cemetery, Dennis-Green funeral home in charge.

Surviving are wife, Mrs. Amy Fletcher; six children, Georgia Ann Dees, Charlene, Willie, G. W., Jr., Donald Lee, Shirley Ann, all of Many; two sisters, Mrs. Susan Fletcher of Shreveport and Mrs. Buckley George of Pleasant Hill; two brothers, Edgar Fletcher of Many and Rollie Fletcher of Converse.
