Patricia Ann Carroll Wooten, age 70 of Springfield, an employee of Acme Boot as well as a business owner in Springfield, passed at her home on July 22, 2011 of chronic illnesses after a stroke in February of 2010. She was born January 25, 1941 in Robertson Co, TN to the late Douglas and Mary Ruth Bibee Carroll; she was of the Baptist faith and was an honorary member of the 3rd Battalion, 5th Marines. In addition to her parents, her brothers, Jerry Daniel "Danny" Carroll, Douglas Mac Carroll, PFC Dwight Wayne Carroll, Tony Ray Carroll and William Michael Biggs, sisters, Linda Jean Carroll Smith Jones and Mary Edith Carroll Dickerson also preceded her in death. Mrs. Wooten is survived by her husband, Bobby Wayne Wooten, daughters, Stephanie Shaver of Springfield, Cynthia "Cindy" Guinn of Charlestown, IN and Bobbie Leigh Wooten of Springfield, grandchildren, Dwight Guinn of Springfield, Hollie Guinn of Louisville, KY, great grandchild, Dylan Guinn of Charlestown, IN, brother, David Carroll of Springfield and sister/niece, Jana Lassiter Beal of Springfield. Funeral services will be held at 1 pm on Monday July 25, 2011 in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home, with Rev. Rodger Thaxton and Debbie Bertram officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-8 and again on Monday from 11-1.
