In 1901, Ida married Doctor Fred Parks, son of William Fred Parks and Louisa Safronia Pearce Parks and would have nine children, three of which lived to adulthood.
There were two girls and three boys born between 1902 and 1909; all dying as babies. In 1910, Giles Berdet Parks was born. Five years later, Jewel Fred Parks came along to be followed a year or two later by another girl that died as a baby. Finally, in 1920, Juanita Marie Parks rounded out the family.
After her three children married, she and her husband were blessed with several grandchildren.
While living at the Hindershot Rest Home in Vernona, Missouri with her husband of 54 years, Ida would pass away on August 1st 1955. Two months and 21 days later, her husband Doctor Fred Parks joined her in eternity on October 22.
