T. Earl Chapmond 67 , resident of this vicinity for 50 years , died at the family home Monday evening.
He had been in falling health for the past three years and his condition has been considered critical for several months.
A native of Arkansas. Mr. Chapmond was born October 18, 1890 at Washita and came to this vicinity with his parents, the late Mr. and Mrs. T. L.Chapmond in 1907.
He married the former Miss Essie White on January 13, 1917 and the couple established their home west of Winters where they have lived since that time.
Mr. Chapmond was a prominet landowner in this area and a progressive farmer.

Survivors include his wife ; one daughter , Mrs Marvyn Harbert of Los Angeles, California; one son , L.L. Chapmond of Winters; three sisters, Mrs. Bob Breese of San Jose , California , Mrs. John B. Ogden of Oklahoma City, Okla. and Mrs. Lura Burnett of Mena, Ark. , one brother, Dock Chapmond of Winters and one grandchild.
