away Tuesday night, Jan. 2 at 1:30
o'clock, at the home of his son Bert
Bacon, with whom he had lived since
the death of his wife on June 12,
1919. Mr. Bacon was a man of moral
habits and one who leaves a host of
friends and sorrowing relatives. Besides
his son Bert, he leaves to mourn
his loss a son Zera Bacon and one
daughter, Mrs. Fred Whitney, several
grandchildren and one great grandchild,
little Mary Louise Nourse
The funeral was held Friday at 2 p.
m. at the church; The bearers were:
Chester Crum, John Truax, Jas. Merrick
and Gilbert Matteson, members
of West Bingham Grange of which
he was a faithful member. The family
has the sympathy of the entire
community in its sad bereavement.
Mr. Bacon was for years a resident
of Spring Mills and widely known
throughout this entire section.
