Former President and Chairman of the Board of General Foods Corp, resident of CT since 1929, but maintains a home in Evansville. He would have been 90 years old. He spent his entire career in packaged food and was a 1912 graduate of the University of Wisconsin. He went to work in the family business Igleheart's- founded by his grandfather Levi Jr and Uncles Asa and William (founded in 1856). His greatest product was SWANS DOWN (cake flour). Director of Chase National Bank, NY; Old National Bank- Evansville, C&E I RR, International Steel, and Mead Johnson. Survived by wife Suzanne Bridwell (64th anniversary this coming Nov 2nd), daughter Mrs Wesley D Hamilton and sons Jas B, and John D.
