Lillian M. Althouse, 86, of 16 Center Ave., Terre Hill, Lancaster County, died at 3 a.m. Dec. 31 in her residence.
Her husband, Harry E. Althouse, died in 1977.
Born in Adamstown, Althouse was a daughter of the late Albert and E. Susan (Brendle) Matz.
Althouse co-owned and operated the Ye Village Restaurant, the Terre Hill Hotel and the Terr Hill Snack Bar with her husband from 1947 to 1977.
She was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, East Earl, Lancaster County.
Surviving are two sons, Harry M. Althouse, Berwyn, Chester County, and Robert G. Witmer, Terre Hill, with whom she resided.
There are also five grandchildren.
Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. in the Good Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, Reamstown.
Burial will be in Allegheny Union Cemetery, Alleghenyville.
