The former Florence Bramstedt was born Nov. 13, 1914 in the Town of Herman, a daughter of the late William and Lucy Bodenstab Bramstedt. She was baptized and confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church in Howards Grove and attended Howards Grove grade schools and was a 1933 graduate of Howards Grove High School.
Florence Bramstedt and Henry Bennln were united in marriage on July 17, 1943 at the parsonage of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church of Howards Grove. He preceded her in death Dec. 25, 1994.
Florence worked at Ahrens Furniture and Funeral Home of Howards Grove for 20 years and at the Mlllersville Box Company office for 16 years, as a payroll clerk. She was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church of Howards Grove and was a former member of the Sheboygan Women's Bowling Association.
Funeral services for Florence Bennin will be held on Saturday, Oct. 19, at 2 p.m., at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, the Rev. Jonathan Rossmann, officiating. Interment will be in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Howards Grove. Friends may call at the CHURCH, on Saturday, from 10 a.m. until the time of services.
Survivors include one daughter, Jola (Gerald) Thiel, Howards Grove; two grandchildren, Daniel and David; One brother-in-law, Harvey Bennin, Sheboygan; one sister-in-law, Lorraine Bennin, Johnsonville. Florence was preceded in death by one brother, Harry and one sister, Anita Schwartz.
