Walter Ashley Arbogast, age 74 years, a resident of Valley Head, passed away Friday afternoon, December 23, 2011 at his home. He was born May 14, 1937 at Valley Head, a son of the late Charles Burton and Sena Bell Vandevender Arbogast. On 12 Jul 1957, he was married to Agnes June King Arbogast who is a resident of the Good Samaritan Center in Belington. Surviving are two sons, Walter Junior Arbogast and Perry Ashley Arbogast. Four daughters, Louise Biggs, Phyllis Kincaid, Samantha Brown and Patricia Barnett, seven brothers, William Ray Arbogast, Gene Edward Arbogast, Fred Clark Arbogast, Charles Bennie Arbogast, Ronald Wayne Arbogast, James Mitchell Arbogast and Michael Allen Arbogast, one sister, Phyllis Joan Sharp, fourteen grandchildren, Pamela, Timmy, Melissa, Christina, Jason, Michelle, Stephanie, Ashley, Andrew, Joseph, Savannaha, Shasta, Brandy and Christopher and thirteen great grandchildren also survive. Mr. Arbogast attended the schools of Randolph County and was a self employed Logger. Friends may call from 10:00 AM until 12:00 noon Friday, December 30, 2011 at the Tomblyn Funeral Home in Elkins. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon Friday from the funeral home chapel with Rev. Verl Simmons officiating. Interment will follow in the Valley Head Cemetery.
