Mr. Bill KimbrelBill Kimbrel, 81, of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, December 29, 2011, at St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas.

He was born on December 2, 1930, in Kennett, Missouri, and was the son of the late Ben and Gladys Pauline Ray Kimbrel.

He was united in marriage to Virginia Fithian on January 31, 1953, and to this union three children were born. She preceded him in death on April 25, 2002.

In addition to his parents and his wife, he was also preceded in death by his three children: Michael Kimbrel, Deborah Nelson, and Glenda Clark.

He is survived by four grandchildren: Anthony Gunn, Brian Gunn, Kyle Gunn, and Jason Stokes; four great-grandchildren; one sister, Jennie Claus and husband Richard of Piggott, Arkansas; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held in the Hoggard & Sons Chapel with Tommy Boles officiating. Burial was in Mars Hill Cemetery near Crockett, Arkansas.
