T. G. Brannon Dead-
T. G. Brannon died at his home here Saturday, October 3, after a lingering illness. He was 64 years, 11 months and 3 days old, having been born October 23, 1866.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon at the First Baptist church by Rev. R. H. Miller. A large crowd of friends were present to pay their last respects. Interment was made in the Hominy cemetery.
Mr. Brannon was married to Miss Frances Ferguson of Hickory county, Mo., on August 2, 1891. They were the parents of nine children, seven of whom with the mother survuved him, and who were all present at the funeral. The daughters are Mrs. Ethel Atkins, Mrs. Clarence Reams, Mrs. Jewell Haines and Miss Beulah Brannon and the sons are John, Dee and Doc, all of Hominy. In addition to these he is survuved by two sisters, Mrs. Sarah Taylor of Hermitage, Mo., and Mrs. Laura Jordan of Hominy and a half brother, L. W. Hogg of Siloam Springs, Ark. Mr Hogg arrived last week to visit him and is continuing his visit this week.
