SUSANNAH6 RATHBONE (Joshua5. John4, John3, John2, Richard1), born in Stonington. Conn. April 24, 1742; married Edward Robinson at Stonington, Conn., _____; she died in Richmond, _____, 1812. Parents Rev. John Robinson, born in 1620, was the son of Rev. John Robinson, born in England in 1575, educated at Cambridge. Removed to Holland, shortly after 1606, where he had fled for his religion. He and his companions remained there eleven years (about). He was active until his death in promoting the emigration in the Mayflower in 1620, but died before the consent of the English merchants. who controlled the enterprise, could be obtained. His widow and children came to this country in 1630. His eldest son was Francis Robinson and his eldest son was Edward, who married Susannah Rathbone. He before marriage, while a resident with his father, deeded property to Clark Baily of Tyringham. Mass, deed dated June 14, 1793. Children:

1. Anna. b..—; m. Parker Hall; they had twelve children.
2. Edward, b. —: m. Wealthy Tracy; she d.: m. 2d. Eunice Rix.
3. John, b. —: m.
4. Polly, m. Jeremiah Hall; had two children.
5. Susanna, m. —: had two sons.
6. Sylvia, m. Barnes; had six children.
7. David; m.. two wives and had fourteen children.
8. Polly, b. Mar. 1, 1776; m.. Andrew Hibbard.
9. Waitstill, b. ----; he d. aged 21 years, unm.
