Charles was born February 4, 1948, in Mulkeytown son of John and Ruth (McElyea) Perryman. He worked as a mechanic for 25 years before retiring.
He is survived by his son, Charles R. Perryman, Jr. of Colorado and daughter April Perryman-Manns of Shelbyville; 2 grandchildren; brothers: Steve D. (Sue) Perryman of Mt. Zion and James E. Adams of Shelbyville.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Per his wishes he will be cremated at Graceland/Fairlawn Crematory and his cremated remains will be buried next to his mother in Graceland Cemetery with graveside services 10 am, Monday, January 2, 2012
