FLAHERTY, TRUMAN MARTIN--Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 11:30am in the Memorial Chapel at Greenlawn Mortuary for Truman Martin Flaherty, 52 of 2530 Security Ave., who died near Bakersfield July 8. Mr. A.C. Little will officiate, with interment to follow in the Garden of Memory Section of Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mr. Flaherty was a native of Van Buren, Arkansas and has resided in California and Kern County for the past 15 years. He had been engaged in the carpentry trade for the past 20 years.

Survivors include his widow Pearl C. of the home address; four daughters-Mrs. Lola Imogene Smith of Seaside, Mrs. Lavon Hall of Bakersfield, Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Nail of Santa Fe Springs, and Alice Kay Flaherty of Bakersfield; a son Truman of Bakersfield; three sisters--Mrs. Mag Shaver of Modesto, Mrs. Velva Martin and Mrs. Viola Brown both of Oklahoma; six brothers--Albert, Lewis and Benny of Arkansas, Floyd and Oscar of California and Jack of New Mexico; and seven grandchildren.

Pallbearers will include W.C. Renfrow, H.A. Rodgers, V.W. Munn, W.L. Calhoon, L.L. Chelf and L.O. Skidmore.
