Funeral services for Bonnie H. Walker, age 78, of Oak Grove were held 10:00 AM, Monday, October 25, 2010 with Rev. Fred Hale and Rev. Lawrence Hopkins officiating. Interment followed in Red Wing Cemetery, Oak Grove, La.
Mrs. Bonnie Walker was born on January 25, 1932 in Isola, Mississippi and passed away at her home on October 23, 2010 after a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, Chester Sr. and Clemmie Hough; sister, Ethel Phillips, Annette O'Mary, and Estelle Hough; and a brother, Roy Lee Hough.
Survivors include her husband of 58-years, Bruce C. Walker of Oak Grove; two sons, Michael Wayne Walker of Oak Grove; and Calvin Mark Walker and wife, Margaret of Monroe, La; three grandchildren, Nicolas Michael Walker of Oak Grove; Alex Christopher Walker of Baskin, La; and Laci Jo Walker of Monroe, La; a brother, C. L. Hough, Jr. and wife, Betty of West Monroe, La; two sisters, Zelda Ruth Duboise and husband, L. D. of Jackson, Ms; and Sonja Tackett and husband, Earl of Bastrop, La. and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Pat Walker, Rickey Tackett, Mitchell Tackett, Louis Duboise, Donald O'Mary, and Lea Wren.
