Mrs. Frank B. Myers Dead

Americus - Mrs. Frank B. Myers, Americus, died this morning in the Newman Memorial County Hospital.

Funeral arrangements will be announced later by Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home.

Mary Archer, the daughter of M. H. and Helen Grinnell Archer, was born Nov. 6th, 1869, at Americus. Mr. Myers, whom she married Oct. 30th, 1890, in Emporia, died Feb. 12th, 1951. Surviving are a son, Ralph P. Myers, Americus; two daughters, Mrs. George Haise, Calexico, Calif., and Mrs. Vernon Peterson, Atlanta, Ga.; seven grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Harry, who died Dec. 20th, 1934, and a brother, Horace Archer. She was a member of the Americus Methodist Church and the Americus Chapter of the order of the Eastern Star.

Myers Services Held

Funeral services for Mrs. Frank B. Myers, Americus, who died Thursday, were held Saturday afternoon in the Roberts-Blue-Barnett Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Eugene Cundiff. T. C. Owen sang, accompanied by Mrs. Robert Plummer. Pallbearers were Howard Ernst, John Redelfs, Leonard Phelan, Clifford Bausman, Harold Kitteberger and Floyd G. Basen. Burial was in the Americus Cemetery.

Out-of-town relatives attending were Mr. and Mrs. Ralph P. Myers, Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Myers and sons, Gary and Gerald, and Jackie Wonell, Americus; Mrs. Vernon Peterson and Sandra, Atlanta, Ga.; Mrs. George Haise, Calexico, Calif.
