Martin married Celia Oviatt(1841-1885) 26 Sept, 1867. They had two daughters, May Estelle Oviatt(1868-1952) and Ida Maud Oviatt(1871-1956).
After Celia died, Martin married Eleanor Jane Cowan(1837-1933) in 1887.
Martin died 29 March, 1904. He was buried in Braceville Center Cemetery, Trumbull, Ohio.
