Donald E. Cramer, 50, of Laurel Lake, N.J., died on Monday morning at his home. He was the husband of Lorraine (Henry) Cramer.
He was born in East Stroudsburg, a son of the late Elwood F. and Mildred (VanWhy) Cramer. He had been a resident of Laurel Lake for the past year and prior to that of Stroudsburg.
Prior to his retirement in 1996 due to poor health, he had been employed by Beaufab Mills in Stroudsburg for 28 years.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, Steven Cramer of Stroudsburg, Matthew Cramer of Columbia, Md., and Dale VanWhy of East Bangor; three daughters, Angela Cramer of East Bangor, Tara Huber of Stroudsburg, and Dawn Roberts of Bushkill; a brother, Raymond Cramer of East Stroudsburg; two sisters, Sandra Howey of Millville, N.J. and Harriet Fish of East Stroudsburg; 12 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews including Julie Whildon, with whom he resided. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Cortney Page Cramer.
Graveside funeral services and burial will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Stroudsburg Cemetery. There will be no viewing.
The Lanterman & Allen Funeral Home, 27 Washington Street, East Stroudsburg, is in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
