She was the daughter of Jerome Burckhalter and the former Miss Savannah George both of Aiken County, from where she came to Port Royal in 1917.
Survivors include three sons, J. B. Randall Jr., George B. Randall and Myles Randall all of Port Royal; one brother, R. H. Burckhalter, Hepzibah, GA; six sisters; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A charter member of the Daughters of America, she had served in the Port Royal postoffice from 1919 to 1923 and a number of times since then.
