Gladys Kemp of Burkburnett passed away Tuesday, December 27, 2011 in Wichita Falls, TX. Funeral Services will be conducted Friday, December 30, 2011 at 2 PM at Central Baptist Church in Burkburnett with Rev. Duane Perkinson officiating under direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Burkburnett. Interment will follow at Randlett, OK. Gladys was born February 20, 1922 to W.O. (Oscar) and May (Coffee) Branson, in St. Jo, Texas. She was a farmer and homemaker. She married Glen Kemp July 28, 1937. He preceded her in death in 1983. She was also preceded in death by her parents.
Gladys was very active at Central Baptist Church where she attended for the past 60 years. Gladys is survived by her son Jerry Kemp and his wife Norma of Burkburnett, TX.; 2 Grandchildren, Kirk Kemp and his wife Candice of Wichita Falls, TX.; and Kelli Lamb also of Wichita Falls, TX.; and 6 Great Grandchildren; Brother J.D. Branson of Fort Worth, TX.; and a Sister Lois Thornton of Burkburnett, TX.
