BAKER
Edward John, 74, of OKC, died Saturday,Dec. 5, 1992, after fighting a courageous battle against leukemia. He was born in Paris, TX. Jan. 14, 1918 however, most of his life, he resided in OKC. On Sept. 12, 1937, he was united in marriage with Genevieve Baugher. to this union 2 children were born, Carol and Edward Allen. In 1978, he retired from the Federal Reserve Bank. He unselfishly devoted his life to his wife, his family and his friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 sisters. Survivors include his wife, Genevieve; daughter, carol and her husband, Don Kimsey, Pagosa Springs, CO; and son, Ed and his wife, Patty Baker, Mbabane, Swaziland; brother and sister-in-law, Herman L and Thelma Baker, Edmond, OK; 6 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren; 5 nieces and nephews , and a host of dear relatives and friends. Contributions may be made to Deaconess Hospital, 4_B, toward Home Medication Pump, in Ed Bakers memory. The family would like to thank Dr. Brian Geister and Dr. Charles Hollen, and a special thank you to the Deaconess Hospital 4-B Floor Nursing Staff and the Health Corps. Memorial services will be held Dec. 9, at 2:00 pm at the Council Road Baptist Church. Burial will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
