ALEXANDER KNOUSE, 71, JACKSON TOWNSHIP, DIES
Complications following a year's illness led to death yesterday afternoon at three o'clock of Alexander Knouse, seventy-one, at his home in Jackson Township.
Mr. Knouse was a life-long resident of that section, having been a lumberman and a farmer.
Surviving are his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Fred Motchman, of Benton; Mrs. Howard Stedman, of Benton R. D.; two sons, Harry and Abe, of Benton; two sisters, Mrs. Atley McHenry, of Warnersville, and Mrs. Chester Peterman, of Nordmont; five brothers, John W., of Benton; Samuel and Thomas, of Benton, R. D.; Perry, of Stillwater R. D., and Mertin, of Berwick; one grandson, Lloyd Knouse.
Funeral services will be held from his home Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock, being continued in the Benton Methodist Church with the Rev. Mr. Beloy officiating. Burial will be made in the Benton Cemetery.
