Funeral services for Wilmer (Bill) Earl, former owner of Bill's Radiator Shop, were held at 2 o'clock in the afternoon on Friday June 20

The services were held at the Jones Funeral Home with the Reverend Lawrence McElheran of the First Baptist Church officiating. Interment was made at the Glenwood Cemetery in Glenwood, MN. Organist Mrs. E. Danielson accompanied Mr. Elon Carey as he sang "How Great Thou Art" and "Crossing the Bar".
Serving as pallbearers were Samuel Willson, Norman Minor, Forest Spindler, Richard Willson, Howard Spindler, and Milo Spindler.
Military Honors were awarded to Mr. Earl by the members of Otto Hendrickson Post No. 212 of the American Legion. The Color Guard and the Color Bearers were Clarence Snelling, C. D. Greenwood, Harold Heegard and H. H. Bishop, Chaplain Cecil Cooley presented the flag to Mrs. Earl.

Wilmer (Bill) Earl of Park Rapids, died at the V. A. Hospital in Fargo, ND Tuesday, June 17, at 68 years of age.
He was born to Eugene and Clara Earl in Deer Creek on April 28, 1901. On May 4, 1947 he was married to Dena S. Spindler.

A veteran of World War II he served in the Army from November 1942 to February 1943.
Mr. Earl owned and operated Bill's Radiator SHop in Park Rapids for 15 years. He was also a member of Otto Hendrickson Post No. 212 American Legion.
He is survived by his wife Dena, his step-sons, Howard Spindler of Proctor, Forest Spindler of Park Rapids, Russell Spindler of St. Paul, and Milo Spindler of St. Paul; and his nephews Norman Minor of St. Paul and William Willson of Des Moines, IA, S. A. Willson of White Bear Lake and Richard Willson of Fairmount, ND.

Those attending from a distance included Mr. & Mrs. Alvin Yost and family of Sisseton, SD and Mr. & Mrs. John Oliver, James Oliver, and John Reinke all of Browns Valley.
