Annie Byrum, 91, passed away February 25, 2021 at her home in Lancaster, Texas. She was born January 15, 1930 in Ennis, Texas to Nettie Annie (Thomas) and Cap Isom.
She graduated from Ennis School in 1948. She began working for Sears, Roebuck and Co. and retired after 39 years of service mainly as a legal secretary. She married Harold Preston Byrum of Lancaster on March 4, 1967. They were married for 22 years.
She did enjoy life and spending time with family and friends. Whether it was an ice cream social, camping trip, hunting trip with her husband or traveling in there motor home. She was skilled with knitting, crochet and enjoyed her outings to the bowling alley.
Having a small herd of cattle all her life, at one point she had to call it quits and just take it easy for once. Annie Marie did not have an easy life. She had to make some hard decisions. Most of all she loved her family and instilled in her sister and brothers that she raised, strong values that have served them well.
Preceded in death by her husband, parents, two sisters and seven brothers. Survived by her brother, JJ Isom, her sister, Linda Hennis and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Interment: Edgewood Cemetery in Lancaster, Texas
