Mrs. Laney was born in Pulaski, VA, on Sept. 15, 1934, to Charles Buck Tullock and Betty King Tullock.
Surviving are her husband, Bartley B. Laney of the home; one son, Steven H. Burchette of Lexington; one brother, Tony Turner of Florida; and one grandson.
A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Lexington City Cemetery.
