SHIPPENSBURG -- A. Harriette B. Horst, 79, of 326 Mount Rock Road, died at 12:50 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 1, 2004, in Chambersburg Hospital. Born June 5, 1924, in Greene Township, she was the daughter of the late Ferdinand C. Sr. and Leila Oyler Bikle. A member of King Street United Brethren Church, Chambersburg, she was a member of Mustard Seed Sunday School Class and a Sunday school teacher. She was attending St. Luke Lutheran Church near Scotland. A 1942 graduate of Chambersburg High School, she graduated in 1946 from Juniata College, Huntingdon. Early in life, she taught at the former Lemasters High School. She and her husband, Walter Keefer Horst, owned and operated Mt. Rock Orchards, Shippensburg.
