Mother of screen actress Marguerite De La Motte. Nellie was died as the result of an automobile accident - her husband Joseph survived the accident. Afterwards Marguerite and brother were taken in guardianship by movie producer J.L. Frothingham. Frothingham is interred at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery in Los Angeles, CA. (It is not known where Joseph De La Motte is buried.) (Some reports saidJoseph was killed in the auto with Nellie but he wasn't.)
