Curtis B. Hall, 62, one-time Democratic County Chairman and County Councilman, died Monday in his home.
A native of Bloomington, he was born June 6, 1908, the son of Edward F. and Kate Seward Hall. He was a partner in the Hall Electric Company for many years and was one of the founders of the Monroe County Humane Association. He was a member of the Elks Club and the Masonic Lodge and served on the Police Board.
Survivors are the wife, Edythe; a son, and a daughter in Evansville; three grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Kathryn Minton and Miss Josephine Hall, both of Bloomington. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles and Ben, who died within days of each other in 1960.
Private family service were held Wednesday at the Allen Colonial Chapel, with the Rev. Dennis L. Thuftedal officiating. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery.
